Ryan-Mark Parsons: All things Tik Tok growth, Social Media and Ladurée
You may remember Ryan-Mark Parsons as the youngest ever candidate on The Apprentice back in 2019. Ever since, Ryan-Mark has been doing amazing with TV features, press and social media.
In particular, Ryan-Mark has produced an engaged and large Tik Tok audience, we ask Ryan-Mark his secrets to Tik Tok growth and what his favourite social media moment has been since The Apprentice.
What have you been up to since The Apprentice?
It’s been very busy since The Apprentice. I’ve been involved with shows like ITV’s Good Morning Britain, BBC Three’s Celebrity Eating with My Ex, and ongoing TV projects I can’t wait to share soon.
Furthermore, I became a columnist for one of the UK’s largest tabloids, the Daily Star – weekly showbiz articles that pack a punch. I also joined RT’s social media team, producing weekly reports on a range of topics and hard-hitting op-eds too.
All of this, plus my concierge business I’ve run since 2018, it’s kept me busy seven-days-a-week and I’m getting busier.
How are you finding Tik Tok? Was it tough to get verified compared to Twitter/Instagram?
Adore TikTok! It’s my therapy. Worked with some great brands and creators on various projects.
I’ve grown to over 115,000 followers in under one year. Love those who have supported me since the start. Always.
Verification was pretty easy, as I’m already verified across Facebook, including Instagram. Key is to be newsworthy and I’m the tabloid icon.
Have you got any growth tips for Tik Tok?
Be authentic, bullish, and shocking. People are quick judge, even more rapidly on TikTok. Create engaging content that captures the viewer straightaway. Be unique too – follow trends, but add your own flair. I’m not telling you my other secrets. Ha!
What has been your favourite moment on your social media channels?
My recent collaboration with French luxury bakery Ladurée was fantastic. What better brand to work with when it comes to fine café dining?
Can we expect to see you anytime soon on the big screen?
Yes! New projects are appearing all the time and my management are always putting me forward for the right opportunities. You can’t get rid of Ryan-Mark. I’m like a virus you don’t want a vaccine for.
